Hi Everyone. I got a bit confused and think I have introduced myself in a few places already here but better more than less I guess.
I have been working in IT for more than 20 years and for the last 14 dealing mainly with Data Protection, Backup and Replication. I have worn many hats and now am Community Manager at Object First . Apart from Data Protection I am very interested in Kubernetes. Finding these forums very informational and useful. Hello everyone,
My name is Sielecas (Suh-lee-kiss) and I'm super excited to be here and to participate. I am from Orlando Florida, and what brings me here is wanting to participate and give back to my local community by helping to show disadvantaged kids future opportunities in the tech field. I currently hold Net+ Sec+ and in a few short days (CYSA+) will be next on my list of achievements! I have been working in the DoD industry for the last 8 or so years doing software / hardware Integration and Test and I am trying to land my very first cybersecurity role. I took a leap of faith and decided to not renew my contract this January in hopes of landing my first cybersecurity analyst position.

Lets see...an interesting fact about me...In my spare time, I like to play the drums and I dabble in the realm of 3D printing (Bambu Lab X1-Carbon).

I'm happy to get involved in any way that I can as I am soaking up tons of information in this exciting new field for me.

I have been actively involved in the Technology industry for 23+ years, gaining comprehensive experience and a deep understanding of the latest developments and trends. My passion for Innovation, Emerging technology, Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Design Thinking has driven me to actively participate in several events, conferences, and projects, enabling me to stay at the forefront of advancements in the field. I have many review and research papers to my credit since 2019.

I have lived on the east coast mostly but I am currently in Colorado. I had pursued a career in computer science about 14 years ago but I got into a very depressive state due to a few important life events. I've managed to feel better and more confident which is why I have decided to finish my degree as well attaining certifications. I am currently working my way through the CompTIA Security+ book, which has been fun.

Something about me? I taught conversational english for 2 years in South Korea after I left college. I would talk with people so they could practice English and get become more fluent with the language.

Hello everyone ? my name is Ryan Groves. I was born in Louisville KY, but now reside in Clarksville, IN.

I have recently obtained certifications in both Network+ and Security+ in hopes of transitioning to a more rewarding career that's exciting, and constantly evolving, with the hopes of becoming a cyberthreat incident responder.

I was introduced to the IT world at a very young age thanks to a family member showing me their PC rig during a Christmas party. I fell in love with the online world shortly after that discovery, searching for thrilling experiences playing online shooters and MMOs. I'm also a patriot who loves his country and believes everyone's rights should be protected no matter what. I feel as if following this career path will also fulfill my sense of duty to my fellow Americans (and of people abroad), by protecting vital systems and data from being compromised by attackers.
